BSDC brings together a group of people with a combined wealth of knowledge and experience,
covering many aspects and forms of dog training, from puppy development and socialization through
obedience and agility, to all phases of top level Australian competition.

Mr Reg Worth
Also a Former President and current Training Director Reg is an integral part of the BSDC's
success. He is also is the current President of the Australian United Sporting Dog Clubs inc
(AUSC). Reg is a keen competitor and trials throughout Australia in AUSC IPO Dogsport
competitions. His knowledge comes from many years experience selecting, training and testing dogs
both in his professional and personal life. Reg assists other members with training in all phases
and is a helper for the club. As a helper, Reg has an outstanding ability to read dogs of
all types, and an uncanny knack of being able to get the best out of them. Commonly complimented
by international visitors on the excellent quality of his work.
In 2008 Reg fully qualified as an IPO/VPG Judge with AUSC.
Reg created Dogsport History when he was the first Australian to compete for Australia in a IPO
World Championship.

Mr John Daniel John holds the
position of Treasurer and Helper at the BSDC, he brings to the club a wealth of knowledge through
commercial and private dog training experience. John and Michelle re-located to Brisbane
nearly 2 years ago from Sydney where John was head trainer and helper for an AUSC club there.
John now has the major responsibility for the helper work at the club and assist with obedience
training. John also holds the position of AUSC Director of Helpers responsible for the
AUSC's Helper program. 
Karyn Worth Karyn is the current
BSDC President and is also a keen competitor having competed in nationals and club trials
throughout Australia. Karyn was 2007's IPO III National Champion. Karyn assists the other
members with tracking and obedience at training and tracking days. Over the last 20 years
she has organised international trainers to conduct seminars and Judges for our club and national

Michelle Daniel Michelle is BSDC's current
Secretary and is also a keen competitor who travels and competes in national and club trials
throughout Australia. Michelle was 2007's IPO I National Champion. Michelle assists many of the club
members with obedience and tracking on training and tracking days. Michelle is the current AUSC Secretary. Michelle & Dax IPO I
2007 AUSC Nationals 
Dr. Gabi Hoffman
Former President & Training Director, who along with "Axel" (Handled, Owned and Trained at BSDC
since 8 weeks of age by Gabi), were the first AUS Grand National Champions, with world class
scores of 94-97-99 under USA Judge Mr. Floyd Wilson. Gabi has relocated to Canada after marrying
Lance Collns (WUSV Competitor and trainer) and is a member of the West Coast German Shepherd
Schutzhund Club. Gabi and Lance on their wedding day.
 As an
active member of the Australian United Sportdog Clubs (AUSC), BSDC also has access to the
knowledge and experience of other top level trainers, handlers, helpers and breeders throughout
Australia.
As we've mentioned, we often draw on the vast experience of internationally recognised trainers,
handlers and judges from throughout Europe, Canada and the USA. Bringing such highly regarded
visitors to our country ensures that IPO and Working Dog enthusiasts in Australia have access to
proven, world standard training and handling techniques. |
